The Hunger Games Book 1..

Ahhh I have just completed reading The Hunger Games Book 1 which is part a trilogy. My bestest Hannah Evans recommended this book to me and I have got to say good choice as usual I started the book Sunday and finished it yesterday I couldn't put the book down start to finish. The book is full of suspense from start to finish and you can't help but read faster the more thrilling it gets.

It is a book of nerve racking thrill and an engaging love story at the same time. It starts when North America has been destroyed and they split it into 12 districts and these districts are ruled by the government this place is called the Capitol. Every year they hold 'The Hunger Games'. The games take children 12 to 18 and put all their names in a machine and they pick out a girl tribute and boy tribute from each district. Katniss Everdeen 16 years old steps forward to volunteer in the place of her sister. After they have picked names the 24 tributes all battle it out in an treacherous arena until one is left alive. This is televised all over the country. When she gets in the arena staying alive is not her only worry but her romance that has developed.

I definatley recommend this book I will post the second after I have read it.

The Falsies Volum' Express..

I don't usually go for different mascara like to stick to my usual but recently I have been buying and exploring new items. For Christmas I got 'The Falsies Black Drama' by Maybeline.

The brush is curved with means you can get closer to your eyelids and make them look fabulous! I thought it would get clumpy as it is quite a thick mascara but it doesn't and I tend to use No7 lash adapt underneath as this makes your lashes thicker.
All in all I recommend this for anyone looking for longer thicker eyelashes.

Imagine if love were a disease? This was book I didn't put down the whole way through. I had never heard of Lauren Oliver before this book but one of my dearest friends with great taste in books offered me to borrow the book and I did. Soon enough I was sucked right in and couldn't socialize till I had finished. A truly beautiful story about a girl and a boy but not any old love story.

The cover of the book is encapsulated straight away with the question 'what if love were a disease?' The book is based in a future America where scientists have discovered that love is the start of all hate, so logically scientists came up with a cure to stop people from feeling love which stops hate.
Once one turned 18 they had a procedure that changed the way the brain thinks and feels which stops people from feeling love.
The story is all about a girl called Lena who is terrified of the so called disease after her mum committing suicide after the procedure failed to cure her from 'Love'. A life without love is a life without pain.
But of course weeks before her procedure a boy named Alex comes along and reality is turned upside down.

This book had me feeling mixed emotions laughing and crying. Had me on edge whole way through. Definitely read it again.

Lana Del Ray is my new obsession. Have her on repeat 24/7 with her meaningful lyrics and beautiful dramatic voice what else do you need! Simple sophisticated fashion but with slight drama with her bright lipsticks and flowers in her hair.
Her Born to die video is very deep but still a beautiful dramatic feel to it. I hope to see more of this fine lady!
