Hello,
Been a long time I know I have been extremely busy since before Christmas and have not had time to post. I am hoping you all had a lovely Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Since Christmas I have been an intern for Kelly Shaw, a fashion designer based in Dalston, London, graduated with The University of East London, check her out on Twitter; @kellyshawlondon Web; www.kellyshaw.co.uk
So after being a busy bee in London I have decided to write to you and ask for your help a little. I have been doing a research project at University and I am hoping you can write to me with your opinions on it. The question I have been researching is 'What is the connection between the way women dress, sexuality and the female body?' I have been looking into the psychology, and the physical side of the subject. I have done a questionnaire I have done http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MD3TXVG this is the link to take part in my questionnaire which I will be really grateful of.
I would like to thank you for reading.

Circus Of Horrors
This is one of my collections from college, it was my final major project in my BTEC National Diploma and my inspiration was nightmares and circus.
I have always found the circus a scary place but have recently found it fascinating the colour's and the drama. I wanted to create clowns you would see in nightmares and that would stick out and catch people's eyes, the make-up was a big part of the theme as it made them look quirky and upset clowns.
I looked at all sorts of pictures from circus from the past and present and came up with these ideas. Reading I love reading and one day I read a book called The Night Circus which was full of imaginative things that got me really excited about this collection.

I was really pleased with the finished project I think that it worked really well as a collection and the theme worked and people understood what the theme was, I got good feedback and comments.
Thanks for reading.

Whats Hot and Whats not this Autumn/Winter?
Well I have been doing a project at college called Fashion collection and realisation so we have been asked to surf the web in search for trends that are in this season.
First stop was topshop, I found trends on the site that are in this winter;
* Sensationalist - Jewel encrusted, Shine, Dominatrix, Metallic, Snakeskin, and sequins!
* Pennsylvania - This Androgynous look is full of oversized outwear but mixed dainty frills and ditsy florals. A lot of faded denim and delicate lace! Masculinity with a feminine twist!
On the online retailers such as ASOS and Misguided these wear the two I checked out they both had camouflage and khaki for one of their trends.

Also other trends on these two sites were oxblood this is a trend I am loving this winter I have quite a lot of oxblood in my wardrobe!
Well those were a few of my favourite trends from this years high street and online retailers.
Happy Shopping!

Big October Bash
Hello everybody,
Ages ago I promised a charity event and it is finally getting there and we have all sorts of entertainment promised for the evening including myself in a fashion show, live music, cupcakes, cocktails and watch out for that paparazzi!
You be welcomed in with a Hollywood red carpet theme with paparazzi! There will be cupcakes, cocktails and crepes made in front of you in a french style. You will be welcomed in to sounds of The Belltones which is a bit of swing to add a bit of class to the evening.
Shortly after your arrival you will have the joy of watching my fashion I have designed a few of the garments and made them also included are the girls from Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology from a range of levels.
So after watching plenty of fashion and listening to lots of swing you are ready for some grub! We have curry for the meat eaters and vegetarian lasagna for the veggies! But don't about eating too much because you soon dance it off with Monsta-Ball (jukebox mama reformed) they have transformed and are back bigger and better! Check out there site currently they are still using their Jukebox mama one as the other is under construction soon to be up and running!
http://www.jukeboxmama.co.uk/
Next we have The Warble Bandeoke Band this is karaoke but you get a live band playing behind a brilliant way to end a night after drinking too many cocktails why not hop and stage and show us what you have got!

Hello Guys
I really need to start sitting down and doing this more often, well as it is Fashion week I thought it would be the opportune moment to post!
The designers that had stood out to me most in the London Fashion Week is Ashish he has done a school rebellion based collection a lot of 90's feel in the collection with denim, sequins and sheer fabric it is a very slouchy loose fitted collection. I will be using him in my research and final major project at college as I find his work very interesting and different.
These are my two favourite collections so far I am still going through the whole list on www.style.com it gives a excellent variety of the shows and images of them all.
Thanks for reading I will be back with more !
